The Friends of the Foundation is a circle bringing together people and organizations wishing to support Alamaya by means of an annual contribution in the amount of their choice. They thus help to advance research, spread awareness of the various issues at stake with regard to schizophrenia, and fight the still widespread taboos concerning psychiatric diseases.
Research is costly and public contributions are far from being sufficient – support from private donors is essential to achieve concrete results.
The Foundation regularly informs its Friends of research projects, and invites them to various events (conferences, open days, etc.).
A committee was set up to help extending the circle and organize events intended to thank Friends for their commitment and keep up their interest.
