The Loterie Romande supports medical research
The Alamaya Foundation has been benefitting from the generous support of the Loterie Romande (lottery of the French speaking part of Switzerland) for several years.
On 5 September 2008, the Loterie Romande organized a press conference to present some of its grantees exemplifying the activities it sponsors. The division Training & Research was represented by the Alamaya Foundation.
Further to the press conference, Swiss TV filmed a short report on the Unit for Research in Schizophrenia.
A genetic factor contributes to the outbreak of schizophrenia
Cécile Guérin receives Kim Do Cuénod, Head of the Unit for Research in Schizophrenia at the Center for Psychiatric Neuroscience (Lausanne University Hospital), to learn more about this scientific breakthrough published in the American journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.
